The Flexible Packaging Association publishes SPMC’s standards in the Sterilization Packaging Manufacturers Council Standards and Test Methods, a manual that includes standard test methods, specifications, practices and a guide for the design and evaluation of primary flexible packaging materials for medical products, as well as FAQs.
SPMC’s standards provide consistency and reproducibility to the design and production of sterilizable flexible packaging and help improve understanding and communication throughout the packaging supply chain.
